Playa Miramar

Playa Miramar is the 5th and last of the outer beaches southeast of town. It is almost a 30 minute drive outside of town. All homes on this beach are self-contained, self sufficient solar homes. In only some of the homes can you plug in 110 volt appliances. The water for these homes is delivered as needed, and with normal use is filled once or twice a week. As long as you are conservative with the power and water you will have an enjoyable stay. None of these homes have A/C. The beach is wide, sandy, and covered in shells. If you want to have a quiet enjoyable vacation Playa Dorada and Playa Miramar are your two best choices.

T-37 "Casa De Peppi" - 3 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms & Sleeps 6-8

Spacious beachfront home with large beachside patio with furniture and a gas BBQ on a white sandy beach. Solar powered with an AC inverter, which allows you to use 110 appliances (it does not have A/C). Hot and cold running water. Fully equipped kitchen with major appliances, 2 percolators for coffee, utensils, dishes, pots and pans, etc. Bedrooms and living area have ceiling fans. Furnished living room includes a gas fireplace, large picture windows and door and one mirrored wall to reflect the beautiful Sea of Cortez. The dining room has a table, chairs, and a sliding glass door that leads to the beachfront patio. The master bedroom has a king bed plus a full bathroom. The second bedroom has a full bed with another full bathroom next to it. The third bedroom has a full bed, a sliding glass door leading to the patio and its entrance is separate from that of the main house. The home can be rented with or without this additional third bedroom. This home has a small rooftop sundeck, an extra outdoor shower to rinse off the sand and a large beachside patio with furniture and a gas BBQ. Authentic Mexican tiling, wood ceiling beams and sea life themes decorate the home throughout. Solar power and hot and cold running water. There is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, refrigerator and stove plus utensils, dishes, pots and pans, etc. The dining area has table and chairs and the living room has corner fireplace, sofa, and double futon, two large windows with an ocean view and a door leading out to the covered patio. Both bedrooms, one on either side of the living area, are graced with large ocean view windows, a full bed in each and a full bathroom in each. AC inverter and fans. This beautiful two story home is located in Playa Miramar. This home sits in the back of a beachfront lot along with the main house. It is just a few steps down to the beach. Downstairs you will find the two bedrooms and one of the bathrooms. The first bedrooms holds a queen size bed and the second one has a double bed. the access to the second floor is located in the outside of the house. In the upper level you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a stove/oven, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, toaster and all utensils. You will also find a hidden bed on the wall. A second bathroom is located there as well. The second level also counts with a balcony to enjoy the amazing sunsets. The entire home runs on solar power. NO PETS. There is no a/c. Casa De Sirenas - 3 Bedrooms, 2-1/2 Bathrooms & Sleeps 6

This beautiful oceanfront home, on a peninsula, will provide you with a Mexican atmosphere emphasized by the art, statues and coffee table books about the Mexican culture, sea life, astronomy and other interesting subjects. You will have a large porch from where you can cook on the built-in barbecue grill and at night enjoy the stars and moon with the telescope, astronomy books and star finders. For the adventurers, the first estuary is 8 miles to the west and the second estuary is 3 miles to the east. The sun will rise and set over the same ocean, this is rare and beautiful. The largest tide swing, that I saw, was 8 feet from the porch to 980 feet out. Water temperatures range from 65 winter, 80 spring & fall, 90 summer. Many do fish in front of the house. Most are successful. You will be on a quiet secluded beach with few people, yet town, shopping and restaurants are only 20 minutes away. This home comes with coffeepots, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, some games and is fully furnished. The 110VAC inverted will provide power for fans, lights, blender, refrigerator, radio and TV. Please do now use electric hair dryers. There are gas lighters in all of the rooms they create a cozy atmosphere and in the bathrooms serve as night-lights. Bring down candles; we have candleholders, for an even more romantic atmosphere.
